Due to our continued growth and expansion, we are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join the team. You need to have a strong technical background, show an understanding of working in the Nuclear, or a similar highly regulated industry, have strong organisational skills, be process oriented and comfortable working with a wide range of clients and collaborators, at all levels.
You will be responsible for commissioning and overseeing projects from concept to completion, acting as the primary interface to all stakeholders. Your role encompasses stakeholder communications, project planning, design briefs, coordinating with the design & manufacturing teams and providing detailed reports on project progress and cost management.
You will be supported in your role by a team of engineers and designers – your focus will be the accurate planning, execution and tracking of all project deliverables and accompanying quality documentation.
You should be experienced and comfortable working on multi-million pound client contracts.
Lead and manage multiple projects including coordination with external collaborators
Primary point of contact with the client, ensuring that the project goals are met on time and to budget
Manage all aspects of the project development lifecycle, from specification to product delivery
Maintain strong working relationships with management, operations and workshop
Identify risks and ensure operational impacts are minimised
Work within strict QA/QC guidelines and contribute to ongoing process improvement.
Contribute to technical quotations for new work
Responsible for producing all engineering management reports and providing on-going status of the project
Education, Skills & Experience
Bachelors Engineering Degree
3+ years technical project management experience
Strong track record of delivery in Nuclear decommissioning or other highly regulated industry
Good computer skills (Microsoft office, Microsoft Project, Google suite)
CAD experience desirable
Strong communication and interpersonal skills essential.
